- I have a small art studio at my home in Raglan. I have been painting most of my life, but only in the last few years have I painted in oils. I went to art school in Newport at the age of sixteen, but had to leave before completing my course, to help at our family farm to replace my sister who was getting married. I have since completed some adult educational courses and passed at many levels. At the age of seventy three, I had my first art exhibition ever at Abertillery Metropole Cultural and Conference centre in 2007. They have since invited me back again this year. I am kept busy with rural exhibitions, a Forgotten Skills group, and keeping up with commissions. My subjects are wide and varied and I don't have a particular favourite, but our beloved Welsh mountains come close to it. I hope you enjoy my work.
